Hi, I’m Rosie. At one point in my life I thought all calories were the same.

It led me to eat microwave noodles or Ruffles all dressed chips with a bottle of soda as dinner most nights as a freshman in college.

I put on those 15 pounds so quick, but it became a huge catalyst for me.

It led to a lifelong obsession in discovering the best nutrition and fitness strategies out there so I can live the healthiest life possible, and ensure my clients do too.

That doesn’t mean I haven’t had my share of challenges.

I lived the corporate life for a while where I was so busy and tired that I lost myself for a bit.

Which led to a horrible experience with a personal trainer in a big box gym when I tried to get back on track.

And don’t get me started on having to lose the baby weight.

But all those things made me better prepared to help you on your journey. Because I get it. I know what you are going through and I’m here to help.

Today I wanted to share a story from one of my recent clients, Elisa, an American mother of 2 who lives in Italy:

“I lost myself trying to juggle work, the kids and taking care of my ill mother. Which led me to putting on a lot of weight. I have a demanding career where it pulls me in lots of different directions.

So that she would be full on a big salad and a nice, lean protein so she would go in and nimble at smaller portions, instead of overeating. .

“A couple of my co-workers and I decided to get some happy hour drinks after work.

I was planning to have one and be done, but you know how these things go.

We were having a great time catching up and one drink led to many more. It was getting late and by then we were all starving. We decided to share a couple of apps.

The bar obviously didn’t have any healthy options so out came a tray full of burger sliders, fries and mini pizzas. With every bite, I knew I was messing up big time.

I cannot tell you how angry I am with myself. Where is my will power? I now have to live with the scale and my decisions. I really need to get it together. For the last two weeks, the scale had not moved and now it did. But in the wrong direction.

No matter how mad I get at myself I can't stop shoving food in my face. I've had bagels & sandwiches the last few days and now feel like a blown-up balloon.

One slip-up and now my whole diet has gone to hell.”

That’s the story that one of my new clients, Lara, shared in our first meeting...

I hear stories like this all the time. There are going to be obstacles and times where eating healthy is not possible.

Losing weight, even with a schedule full of business trips, events and vacations, is still really doable. But it takes some preparation and you need some support.

Having someone in your corner to guide you through these moments is crucial to keeping your weight loss journey on track. With every other major event in your life, you go through it with a strong support network.

Each week I’ll get on a short call with you to plan out the upcoming week and get you prepared for these stressful moments.

One way we can do this is having goals for the week. You can plan one indulgence meal because you are going out on a certain night, it takes the pressure off. You can just enjoy it because those decisions are being made in advance.

Instead of being reactive, you’ve established an intention in advance.

Having backup is another key. If you are in a bind and you can’t eat anything you have a protein bar or a shake. You set yourself up so that you are not at the mercy of what everyone else orders and completely starving.

You’ll find that these stressful eating occurrences will start to happen less often. You’ll have the tools and advice on how to work around them and get right back on track.

Feeling energized from a goodnight's sleep. When you pass by the mirror you can’t help but stop and smile. 
The pants you always wanted to wear now fit perfectly.

And you may even find yourself admiring how amazing you look too!
